“Don’t introduce me to any country boys ” Jennifer said to her friend. A friend that was now her bridesmaid, at her wedding, this past weekend at The Royal Crest Room . That bridesmaid introduced her to the best country boy of them all. As Jennifer pulled out her little vow book, she took a deep breath and began to speak. “Before I met you, I’d watch romantic movies and thought those love stories weren’t real. After I met you I still don’t” . The guest began to laugh, as Jennifer looked at Joey and they both laughed.  “I see the way you love me in the way you drove for hours to see me when we were dating, only to be able to spend an hour with me before you had to leave again. I see the way you love me in the way that you spend all day helping my parents make repairs to their home so that they could be safe during a hurricane.” It was evident why Jennifer wasn’t amused by those love stories she saw in the movies as she spoke her vows. Those love stories set the expectations too low. What she has with Joey is so much more. It sets such a higher standard.  Its true love. Relentless love. Devoted love. Selfless love. A love that knows no measure.

It was time to cut the cake. She walked out on to the dance floor. A vision in red. Glowing from head to toes. Not just because she looked stunning. She was glowing because Joey’s eyes lit up the moment he saw her. He went from twerking and laughing with his guest to HOLY MOLY! It was like a first look all over again. We looked at them and they were like little magnets from a cross the dance floor pull towards each other. It was sweet to see how Joey looks at Jennifer. Every time its like the first time. We can truly see that every time he looks at her, he thinks, “How did I get so lucky”. It was beautiful to see her take away his breath every time.

Joey and Jennifer, we are so grateful to have met you guys. So thankful to have been a part of your day. It was such an amazing feeling to have been welcomed into your day and into this intimate moment. Thank you guys for the laughs. Thank you for your kindness. Thank you for your friendship. We knew from our first Skype call that we were going to love you guys! Now we wait anxiously for you guys to move back to Florida from Texas so we can be close to you as we see all the amazing things that you guys will accomplish together!
