Today we’re sharing our first wedding of the year and boy what an amazing start it was! I still remember the first time we spoke with Kelly! We were on our annual summer road trip and we just had to pull over to chat with the girl who so happened to be as obsessed with Fixer Upper as this Chip and Joanna junkie right here lol.

After their engagement session we had started counting down the days until we could make these two blush in front of the camera again! As we approached their wedding date we were hit with a pandemic and they made the selfless difficult decision of postponing their wedding. It was hrs for them but as we comforted them on the other end of the phone we were so disappointed too.

But everything worth having is worth waiting for. And wait they did. But their patience wasn’t in vain. The day finally arrived and every second from beginning to end was perfection.

Our favorite moment of the day has to have been during their ceremony. You see David and Kelly had gotten to spend the bulk of the day together after their first look. Their first look was a moment of relief and comfort in being together, each other’s best friend. We never caught a glimpse of David becoming emotional until that down the aisle moment. Even with the professional music playing I could hear the deep breathing exercises David was doing to contain himself! Almost as if he took a lamaze class to prepare for this moment haha! He only had eyes for her in that very moment and the smile on her face when she realized she had just taken his breath away, priceless!

David and Kelly, thank you so much for sharing this day with us! Thank you for allowing us to be there for you through this journey! Some of our favorite memories in 2020 include you and we are so happy to have been able to start the year off with your beautiful day!
