Oh do we have a treat for you all! A love story that began in a place that is responsible for all of the fairytales that we love! This happy ever after started in the “most magical place on Earth” when Nicole entered the Disney College Program in 2016. Being the fabulous person she is, with her friendly smile and kind heart she made friends right away, specifically Lee who become her best friend and now maid of honor.
Lee had gotten to know Nicole very well which led to her being the first one to make the connection between Michael and Nicole. She knew there was something special about Michael and he needed to be part of the gang. After a few smiles, Nicole finally introduced herself to the guy she had befriended- Michael. These did everything together and formed an incredible friendship after only a few months.
Michael had soon shifted from “hey friend” to “heeeeeeeeey friend” . It was clear that he really liked her more than a friend. Nicole did too but it took her a bit longer to understand that she was hooked. She may have been a bit in denial but never the less their friendship continued to grow.
One day, Michael asked Nicole to go to Epcot. Little did Nicole know, it was just going to be the two of them for the day. Wether that was accidental or on purpose on Michaels behalf is the question. Regardless, once it was just the two of them, no offense Lee, Nicole couldn’t hide the fact that she really liked him. That was the catalyst that took them from friends to now engaged. Eventually they began hanging out just the two of them until Michael finally asked her to go on an official date (with lots of encouragement from Lee! Thank you Lee, you’ve earned the maid of honor role!).
One thing led to another and shortly after, it became an official , they were a couple. Once the program was over, he went back home to work in Sarasota and Nicole was still in Orlando. Two and a half years of a short- long distance relationship, and Nicole finally was able to relocate to Sarasota. Fast forward to last fall, Nicole’s family came down for an Orlando and Anna Maria Island vacation where Michael’s family happens to live. You already know where this “family vacation” is going. As they stood on a deck to take a photo to document this adventure , Nicole turns only to see Michael on one knee.
Michael and Nicole, we are so excited to be joining you guys on your wedding day! You guys are so kind, funny and down to earth, three of our favorite things! If your engagement was this magical, I can only imagine how magical your wedding day will be!
