We are so excited to share Jesse and Tammy’s wedding today! They hold a special place in my heart because you cannot always go ten years without seeing a friend and then get invited to see their happy ending. Trust me, nobody deserves a happy ending like Jesse and Tammy.

I met Jesse back in my Verizon Wireless days. He was always one of my favorite people to work with, mainly because I always knew that it would be a shift full of laughter when he was working. He had the best sense of humor in the store and always brightened up the room whenever he walked in for his shift with his little bounce in his step. Aside from being funny, he was kind, generous, and thoughtful. He always volunteered his seat when I was pregnant after making a joke that I was pregnant, not disabled first.

I’m not sure if he remembers this, but when I had my miscarriage and came back from leave, he was the first person to make me laugh at work. I needed that laugh. He made me laugh when I was going through one of the worst seasons of my life. When Landon and I got pregnant again, he was the first to congratulate me with a bounce in his step and a hug.

Even if he didn’t know it when we were in our early twenties, I knew he would make a great husband one day. Every girl needs someone who can be the calm in her storm, always a friend, always a support. I also knew a remarkable woman would, one day, win his heart and take him to the next level. Tammy is just that.

Tammy is smart, beautiful, a fighter, selfless, and undoubtedly Jesse’s soulmate. From my time with her, she’s become, low-key, my hero. Shortly after finding out that they were pregnant with their first baby, Tammy found out that she had breast cancer. She had to make the scary decision to turn down treatment until their precious baby girl was born. As I write this, I am tearing up because I can only imagine everything that went through her mind. All the what-ifs for her health and future. But her love for her child and Jesse by her side saw her through.

Tammy you are a rockstar of a mother and human being. We are so happy that Jesse found you. He is lucky to have such a selfless, strong, and intelligent woman by his side for the rest of his life. I knew you guys were perfect for each other after your engagement session but after seeing you guys on the dance floor at your reception, surrounded by all the kiddos dancing the night away, we knew you guys have something special that is the kind of stuff they write movies about.

Jesse and Tammy, thank you so much for trusting us with such a special and intimate day in your lives! We are so grateful to have met your perfect family and captured this day for you all. Landon and I are excited to see all the adventures, wins, and great things your future holds. Below are just some of our favorite moments from the most perfect day! Congratulations!
