The best way to bring in the new year is with a fun engagement session at none other than Lake Louisa State Park. Having the perfect sunny, Winters in Florida definitely make for a magical session. Kersley and Jennifer met through, lets just say an awesome matchmaker, her best friend Liz. Liz just so happen to be Kersley’s cousin also. Some donuts (Jennifer’s absolute favorite treat) later and a sweet note passed through Mrs. Matchmaker and the rest is history.

The Proposal
Kersley pulled out all the stops on his proposal masterplan. The question was popped in the most imaginative way possible! Kersley and Jennifer had been doing long distance for a year…seeing each other every 2 weeks. Jennifer went up for a weekend and she thought nothing of it because he was “on call’ the whole weekend! His phone even went off and all that…he had to “go in” a couple times. Little did Jennifer know he was picking up Jennifer’s best friend up from the airport and planning everything! So, he said he got a call and had to go in. They were supposed to be going to a friends party..so Jennifer was getting ready.
Jennifer went downstairs and she heard a walkie Talkie go off and she thought that perhaps Kersley had forgot his phone. Then she heard..Rumblebumm, come in Rumblebumm!…that is Jennifer’s name on Instagram. She couldn’t find where it was coming from. Finally, she noticed a donut box on the table. Jennifer opened it and there it was, a walkie talkie and a whole packet of instructions made up CIA style. Jennifer picked up the walkie talkie and said ..yes? Kersley was totally in character and said “follow the instructions..take your walkie talkie with you. A driver will be there to pick you up shortly!” Kersley had a GIANT treasure hunt set up. He had every single detail down packed, down to a spy pen that Jennifer had to plug into the computer to get her instructions. The driver (his cousin he flew in) drove Jennifer to each point. At each point Jennifer had to contact the “secret agent” on the page and get her next clue. At every stop there was a message in a bottle and also something that was special to them. Jennifer ended up in a donut shop. The last agent Jennifer had to call was her son, Agent Bear. Agent Bear said “mom, pull the flag on the wall”. Jennifer saw a random flag on a wall, so she pulled it. When she pulled it the the wall opens and this guy says “Are you agent Rumblebumm?” After confirming that she was indeed Rumblebumm, Jennifer was granted access only to find that it was a speakeasy in the Donut Shop! No one was in there except 2 guys at the bar. The bartender sat Jennifer at a table.As Jennifer is waiting the guy at the bar stands up, turns around and starts singing. Thats when Kers walks out and Jennifer start balling. He had drinks and donuts made up that said she said yes!
That’s right guys take notes! After reading their beautiful story all we could talk about was this amazing man that had found his amazing woman and definitely stepped up the game. We were so excited to spend the day with these two lovebirds for their engagement session. It was a day full of kisses, laughs, and donuts so its safe to say that it was the bomb.com ! We cannot wait for their beautiful wedding this spring at the gorgeous Isola Farm. Congratulations you guys and thank you for bringing us along for this amazing ride!
