An engagement, a wedding, and two babies later. What better place to reunite for a family session than Lake Runnymede Conservation Area. We can’t believe it has been six years since we met Doug and Marisa. If you’ve been following us for a while, you know that one of our favorite things about what we do is meeting new couples. Sharing in their excitement to start a life as husband and wife. But the most rewarding part is being invited back after the I do’s to continue celebrating all their milestones. Being able to call them friends and love on their children is a priceless reward we never expected but are so humbly grateful for!
Ok, little confession, we love keeping tabs on this family and their girls on social media. First off, they have to be the most precious little nuggets ever. Plus, we may be biased because we are team girls, and they have two girls just like us! This family session was extra special to us because it was the first time we would meet the youngest nugget, Sienna!
The session felt like de ja vu! Just two years prior, we were documenting Elaina’s first birthday, and, oh my word, interacting with Sienna now brought back so many memories of Elaina when she was that little. Now she’s a big sister! Playing with them during the session brought us so much joy, considering our little girls aren’t so little anymore!
Doug and Marissa, we cannot thank you enough for allowing us to be your cheerleaders and the ones to capture your family. We treasure these milestones and feel humbled that you continue to share them with us! We love your family so much, and every moment we spend with you is a gift! Continue to freeze these moments because before you know it, they will be all grown up.
