David + Jennifer’s Intimate Wedding

Today we are sharing the wedding of a couple we hold near and dear to our hearts! Not only because, just two years ago, we capture the grooms daughter’s wedding , but because our groom, David is one of the most laid back guys we’ve ever met and Jennifer’s fashion sense is my love language. Just take a look at her outfit for their engagement session. Most importantly they are so family centered and the most important thing to them is their family!

We knew we were going to be in for so many surprises on their wedding day. These two were ready to share their love with the rest of their friends and their family and they want to make sure that they had the time of their lives. We vote that they were successful! From colorful cannon bombs during sunset, to surprise dance performances during reception, every single moment topped the last.

When we think back through their day, so many special moments pop to mind. From David and Jennifer’s first look to David’s heartwarming expression when he sees his bride walk down the aisle. But my favorite moment of the day was one that I got to enjoy by myself. Nobody noticed it but it just made us fall even more in love with this family. During family formals, it was time for a picture of all the important women in David’s life. His wife of course, his two beautiful daughters, Serena and Madison, and his daughter’s mother, Anita. As these beautiful ladies stood there photo ready for their picture, I hear David say behind me

” I’m a lucky man, my family is so beautiful”

accompanied by tears and a quiver in his voice. Some people don’t know the value of something or someone until that something or someone is gone. My eyes teared up. It was a privilege to be present to hear those words. A privilege to capture these moments for them. It’s a privilege to be in the presence of such a wonderful , loving, fun, down to earth family!

David and Jennifer, thank you so much for sharing your day with us. Thank you for making us feel like family! Every single moment of this journey has been so memorable and we are so grateful for all the laughs you blessed us with! We definitely need to put a crochet date on the calendar. When I told our girls about all of Jen’s yarn, their jaw dropped to the floor haha. Tomorrow will officially be one month as husband and wife, lets relive some of those magical moments from your day!
