I’m so excited to share Justin and Hannah’s wedding today. A moment that we were able to capture that was filled with excitement for the future. A moment that was filled with love and nothing but happiness. This year has been one of the most exhausting years of our lives with all the things that are happening in the world from a pandemic to social unrest. All of that chaos will still be there after this blog but just give yourself permission to pause it. For just a few minutes. Give yourself permission to take a mental break and for just this moment share a little joy.
When COVID-19 entered our lives everything was uncertain. Even the next time you could visit your parents who live next door was uncertain, let alone if you would be able to get married or not. As soon as things began buckling down we made it our mission to stay on top of how this would affect our couples. Staying informed allowed us to help our couples navigate their wedding plans and keep them calm. By doing so our couples were able to get marriage licenses before the courthouses closed. YAY! Agenda to get Justin and Hannah married, one step closer!
The day had finally arrived and we couldn’t be more excited to be there in Justin’s parents home to capture the moment these high school sweethearts said “I Do”. Thats right these two are high school sweethearts and what makes them even more special to us is that they are starting their forever at the same age that Landon and I did so there was a lot of deja-vu emotional moments for us because we knew that being able to do life with the one God made just for you rather than find that love years later is a blessing.
Our favorite moments from their day are filled with their loved ones. Their close friends and immediate family that moved heaven and earth to make their day special. They worked together to keep every moment sacred and intimate because they love them and they knew that it was an honor to bare witness to their love story. At one point during the ceremony we got a little sprinkle, which may have been perfect timing since it was right at the very moment that Justin began to say his vows. Even the Lord brought out the waterworks for those vows haha. The tremor in his voice, the quiver of his lips as he shared all the reasons he loves Hannah and his vows to her in front of God and their loved ones, was one that sparked joyful waterworks among the guest and the heavens.
Justin and Hannah, words cannot even begin to express the joy we feel to have been a part of your day. Your families are so special to us and to be a part of this chapter in your lives is truly a privilege that we do not take lightly. We have so many hopes and dreams for you guys to have a once in a lifetime marriage. A marriage that brings a smile to our Lords face and is for His glory. A marriage that will be fun and exciting and full of love, honor and respect. We dream for you a happily ever after! We know that the future at times may feel uncertain and you’ll face struggles, but our prayer is that your God centered marriage is one that never waivers. I pray that your eyes together always remain on the Lord and each other. We are excited for you because we know that getting married at 20 was the best decision we have ever made in our lives and we are excited for you to enjoy the adventure of loving your best friend for the rest of your lives!
