Today’s challenge, as you go through this engagement session in Lake Runnymede, is going through this post without smiling or blushing. We had our first chat with Amalie and Jimmy in March, and they hooked us from that moment. This moment has been in the making for the last 15 years, ever since they first met at the happiest place on earth, Disney. At first, I thought, guaranteed, Amalie had to play a princess at Disney. Not just because of her beauty but because of how graceful she is. Nope. I was wrong. They were photographers at Disney. Eventually, their paths went from coworkers to friends to romance, and now they are planning their happily ever after!
There is so much to love about Jimmy and Amalie, but we love most watching Jimmy being a jokester and Amalie laughing at all his shenanigans! The truth is my face hurt after their session from how much we laughed together. We know that a couple that can laugh together amid wedding planning is off to a great start. These lovebirds are down-to-earth and adventurous. You’ll see! They even climbed a tree during their session. They are just all around a good time.
The romantic overgrown trees in Lake Runnymede Conservation area and the beautiful sunset were the perfect backdrop for these beautiful souls! We spent our day climbing trees, twirling, adding to our reading list, and galloping into the field. Oh, and blushing. Lots of blushing! The biggest takeaway from our time together is the friendship that lies between Jimmy and Amalie! They are each other’s best friends, and the evidence is in the pictures!
Jimmy and Amalie, we enjoyed hanging out with you guys and capturing you cuties. Amalie, we don’t care if you never were a princess at Disney; you sure are one in real life, and you have found your prince charming. All great things in life are worth the wait, and we truly cannot imagine two people more perfect for each other. Your big day cannot come soon enough!
