Today’s couple is very special to us! They have been a part of our journey for over a decade. From birthday parties to ballet milestones and family sessions along the way, if a special moment needed to be documented, they always blessed us with the responsibility of capturing it. So when Maria called us and asked if we would capture the day she had been waiting for 14 years, their wedding, of course, we said yes after a few minutes of me (Stephanie) squealing obnoxiously! Cheers to the most amazing wedding that will ever take place at The Balcony.
Alejandro and Maria have been married for 14 years already. Still, being young, they never had the opportunity to get married through the church and have the big wedding that Alejandro always wanted to give Maria. They just wanted to start their lives together. We can relate to that feeling. Years later, they have built their own little empire, and Alejandro asked Maria to marry him again. This time, he wanted her to have the wedding of her dreams. I know, it’s super sweet and melt-your-heart moment.
We knew we were in for a day that would be nothing short of spectacular and jaw-dropping. If there is one thing that Alejandro and Maria know how to do, it is through a party. We also knew it would be a night of surprises; every detail would be beautiful and fun. Every attendee would be accommodated and have a personalized experience from the infant to the oldest. It wasn’t just their day.
To many favorite moments to count
It’s hard to pick our favorite moment of the day. We spent 16 hours that day with their friends and family. So please forgive us for being unable to narrow it down to just one. One of our favorite moments was between our stunning bride, Maria, and her beautiful daughter. Maria decided to have her mother and daughter help her get dressed. One obvious thing from the moment you speak with Maria is how important her family is to her. Specifically her children. Maria had their son’s and daughter’s name sewn into her gown, which her daughter, Alexia, saw for the first time while helping her mother into her dress. It’s these little sentimental details that pull at our hearts.
Our second favorite moment was the moment that Alejandro and Maria had been waiting for, that down-the-aisle moment. When those doors opened, and Alejandro saw his beautiful bride, it was endearing to see that she still took his breath away after all these years. He tried to play it cool in true Alejandro fashion, but the glossy eyes gave away his poker face!
Alejandro and Maria, thank you so much for inviting us into your lives and all your special moments over the last decade. We love serving your family, and we are delighted that we were able to witness one of your dreams come true! We pray that the Lord continues to bless your marriage, family, and business and keeps you in his favor! We love you guys!
