“I’m so excited” was the theme of Matias and Ilani’s intimate wedding at The Royal Crest Room. From the moment that we entered the room, the parents were excited, the siblings were excited, the friends and rest of the family were excited. Everyone was excited and Matias and Ilani were the head of the excitement committee. We had never seen a couple so excited to get married. All we saw was teeth everywhere we looked from the smiles that spread like wild fire on their big day!

Our favorite moment of the day was the moment before the ceremony, Matias and Ilani’s first look. They literally were like kids at a candy store type of excited to see each other. With a huge smile on their face that tap on Matias’s shoulder couldn’t come soon enough. What did it for us was the moment Matias turned around and finally was able to lay eyes on his princess.

The sweetest thing we have ever heard during a first look in our twelve years of capturing weddings. Immediately I thought about our daughters. Praying that they are as excited about marriage as these two. That their husbands face lights up like Matias’s face lit up when he saw Ilani. It was evident by his body language, his face and his tender words that Ilani is his treasure.

Matias and Ilani, thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your day. We pray that you continue to be excited day in and day out to do life together. Remember that feeling of how lucky you are to have each other and that moment when you first saw each other on your wedding day the feeling of absolute favor that you get to marry your best friend. We love you guys and love how much you guys love each other and are so happy that you get to experience the best adventure ever, marriage!
