What happens with the dress after the wedding?
After Canada, I got back home and there was my dress with two pounds of Canadian sand. My beautiful dress filthy! I totally practiced what I preached to our brides. I did anything and everything my photographer wanted for the pictures! It was totally worth it. But now I sat here. In my closet . With a filthy dress! A bit depressed. Just looked at thousands of dollars. Hanging there. Filthy! What was I going to do now? What was I going to do with my dress after the wedding. For starters get it cleaned!
I began to research different cleaners and came across a husband and wife owned cleaner in Avalon here in East Orlando, Bridal Gown Preservation. I saw they had great reviews and well decided to take my dress there and cross my fingers that they could make it look as good as new! When I got there and took my dress out of the bag. As I took out the dress, out came all this Canadian sand. Oh my Lord, I was so embarrassed to make such a mess in their store. They were so sweet and gracious to my hot mess. They assured me my 50 pound dress was in great hands and that they were going to make it as good as new!
The day finally arrived for me to pick it up and I was NOT disappointed! OH. MY. LANTA. My dress is new again! Gorgeous! I’m pretty tempted to wear it around the house with it on butI think that would be a bit extra of me!
