We can still remember the day it happened. The day that Landon and Stephanie had the most amazing taco date at the Fashion Square Mall in Orlando Fl. The day these two window shopping trip turned into a ring on Stephanie’s finger. The day that determined the path we’d follow for the rest of our lives. Even though it was 2007, more than 10 years ago, we’ll never forget that day, the joy-filled celebration of our engagement, and the anticipation of the time that followed leading up to our wedding day. That’s why we love capturing couples during their own engagement season. A season of excitement, celebration and planning not only for the day they say “I Do,” but for all of the days that would follow. Every time we photograph a new engagement session, all those feelings come rushing right back to us, and Chloe and Mark’s was no exception.
We had so much fun getting to know these two and capture such a special time in their life. One of the great things about Florida is that there is more than just beaches and Disney. Even though that may be the first thing that comes to mind when people think of Florida! We have some of the most amazing gardens and state parks. A favorite of ours is Bok Tower Gardens! So when Chloe asked for help in picking a location, Bok Tower Gardens made the top 5 suggestions we gave.
We had the forecast threatening us all week leading up to the hourly on the day of but our gut plus the last eight years of reading the forecast taught us that we should take what it says with a grain of salt. We reassured Chloe that the session was still a go. We could sense she thought maybe we were crazy haha. But we know she was so happy that she went a long. The day was perfect. The weather was perfect. Mark and Chloe were perfect! Spending time with Mark and Chloe was such a joy! These two make you want to grab some popcorn and just watch them look at each other and laugh together. Their laughs, oh my word, their laughs are so contagious and the way Chloe fell perfectly into his arms every time , it was obvious that they were like two pieces in a puzzle that had finally been put together. We could see the big picture. The new adventures that would come from their union and all the future has in store for them!
