Fun, extroverted, intelligent, creative and beautiful are the words that come to mind when we think of Sergio and Jazmin. With personalities that draw you in and make you want to be around them all the time, we weren’t surprised when we heard that what was supposed to be a catch up dinner turned into a six hour date.

Sergio and Jazmin met at a conference hosted by the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) in 2008. They stayed in touch over the years here and there through social media. One night while both in NY they decided to meet to catch up. That night, what was supposed to be a brief dinner with an acquaintance turned into Sergio and Jazmin not being able to say goodbye. An hour went by and another and another. Six hours of conversation, food and walks around Washington Square Park was the beginning of a beautiful love story!

Over the last six years, they have been a fort. A Force. A partnership. A team. They’ve supported each other through career and personal milestones. They’ve spent time with each other’s families and friends, and traveled the world. After experiencing so much. Seeing so much. They know that none of it would have been the same without each other and that every new adventure that lies ahead they want to do it by each others side.

Sergio and Jazmin, being a part of your day was such a joy. Jazmin, we know that you know this but that man, Sergio, LOVES you. His excitement during the planning process and thoughtful surprises throughout the day were so heartwarming. The most touching part for us was his anticipation for how happy these little elements of the day would make you. He truly worked so hard all the way up until we made him get dressed, to make sure everything was perfect for his Queen, you!
