We are beyond excited to share with you guys Jimmy and Amalie’s wedding day at a historic gem in Tampa, the Oxford Exchange. When we first spoke with Jimmy and Amalie over a Facetime call while she was attempting to make lasagna, which turned out great, we fell head over heels in love with them.
It’s hard not to with Jimmy’s back down-to-earth, always down-for-good-time vibe, and Amalie’s radiant smile that can light up an entire city in the middle of a blackout! The obsession became even more legitimate after their engagement session. That hour-long session wasn’t long enough, and counting down was in full effect as soon as we said goodbye after their engagement session.
No more waiting! The day was finally here! Jimmy and Amalie’s first day as husband and wife, and we were invited to capture it. As soon as we walked through the door, there were squeals, giggles, and hugs! That bridal suite was just beaming with joy and excitement from everyone there: the bridesmaids, the hair and makeup team, and the coordinator. Everyone was just excited and ready to serve Amalie and Jimmy. You could feel how much love and happiness filled that room for them.
A day full of joyful moments
It’s hard to pick a favorite moment with Amalie because she is just a thousand percent good time… all the time! There was never a moment she wasn’t smiling. She enjoyed every second, from popping bottles with her girls to stepping into her dress.
Since there wasn’t a moment with Amalie that wasn’t a favorite, we had to narrow it down to our favorite moment of the day for Jimmy and Amalie together. That moment must be when Amalie and Jimmy first saw each other when the doors to the church opened. When you go through our favorite highlights of the day, you will see just how radiant it was! Jimmy couldn’t help but smile when he saw his bride! His best friend. His, within a few moments, wife! Before you knew it, they were sharing their first kiss and taking their first steps as husband and wife! As Mr. and Mrs. Hayes!
Jimmy and Amalie, thank you so much for inviting us on this journey! It has been such a fun time, and we hope only the beginning of many more in the future! Your wedding goes down on record as a wedding we wish we could shoot again for no reason other than we loved serving you guys. It was such a joy! The two of you, your families and friends, and everyone there had such a great time, and we enjoyed every moment we captured!
