Boy have we got some gorgeous romance for you today. We spent our weekend at Bella Collina capturing Yandy and Nicole’s first day as husband and wife! Good Lord, it was perfection. Every last detail! From the flawless flowers by Lee James Floral Design , down right to the end of the night where DJ Danny totally partied everyones heart out to the very last drop! Thanks to Runway Events , and the awesome team that makes them oh so amazing, the day went perfectly!

This wedding was extremely special to us. One that we had been anxious to capture for a while. Anxious in totally a good way of course. You see, we’ve known Nicole for over three years ever since Josh and Valeria’s wedding where she was the maid of honor! She captured our hearts with her funny charismatic personality and lovingly truthful nature. No sugar coating. She just says it like it is. As tough as she seemed on the outside, it was the toast she gave during her best friends wedding that really showed us what a caring and genuine person she is.

But this weekend! This weekend Valeria stood by Nicole’s side as she got to marry the man of her dreams, Yandy. It was her turn to give the speech at Nicole’s wedding whom she’s been now friends with for 16 years! Nicole, the little girl that she was partnered with as a translator when she arrived from Puerto Rico, was now someones wife! They both looked at each other with tears in their eyes because they knew that they had been through it all. Heartbreaks, health scares, any up or down that you can think of, they’ve been through it all! But this weekend was a happy moment for the books. One that they will look back at with their future children and share with them the story of a true friendship.

The day was full of so many emotional moments, but by far the most exciting one for us was the first look between Yandy and Nicole! See moments before the first look I asked Yandy how he was feeling, and he had no words. He just signaled with his hand and shook his head. I could feel his nerves. I could feel the build up of emotions he was trying so hard to contain! But he wouldn’t have to contain them anymore. It was finally time to get that long awaited tap on his shoulder!

Time to turn around. Glossy eyes made way to streams of tears. The look on his face was priceless. The tears down his cheeks were epic. Especially since Yandy has a pretty tough exterior too. But this weekend we found out he was all squishy inside. It just took the right person to put his guard down. To win his heart. To ignite his unfiltered, unapologetic, tears of joy!

Yandy and Nicole, my Lord where do we begin with you! Joining you guys on this journey has been by far one of our highlights this year! You two are one of a kind and perfect for each other. We couldn’t be happier that you guys found each other! Yandy, thank you for putting a smile on Nicole’s face and Nicole, thank you for bringing happy tears to Yandy’s eyes. We love you both very much and we cannot wait, along with your parents, for all the pretty babies you guys are going to make! Tomorrow you celebrate one week of being married and what better way to start off the celebration than reliving some of the epic highlights of the best day of your lives.
